Dan Shurey

Dan Shurey currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Carbon Business Development at Catona Climate, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Dan worked at ING as the Director of Sustainable Finance from October 2019 to August 2022. Dan's extensive experience in sustainable finance research includes serving as the Head of Sustainable Finance Research and earlier as an Analyst for Renewable Energy Research at BloombergNEF from June 2011 to October 2019. Additional experience includes work as a Policy Analyst at the Institute for European Environmental Policy and several internships, including roles at the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Center and the World Economic Forum. Dan holds a BSc in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol and has completed CFA Level I.
