Alex Newman

Alex Newman has had a diverse and expansive career in the design industry. Alex began their career in 2007 as a Graphic Design Intern at Strata-G Communications, where they executed work for the marketing agency's senior art directors, developed full-scale concepts and campaign mock-ups for prominent client presentations and meetings, and established an effective system of archiving server files. In 2011, Alex took on the role of Graphic Designer/Video Post Production at Lifemark Studios, where they instituted new design standards for DVD inserts and disc labels, designed and authored corporate marketing emails, and performed extensive photo editing and enhancing. In 2013, Alex was hired as a Graphic Designer at The Outdoor Recreation Group, where they designed packaging for outdoor brands sold nationally in large retail chain stores. In 2017, Alex took on the role of Senior Designer at The Outdoor Recreation Group, and Visual Designer at Hylink Digital Solutions. In 2018, Alex became an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer at CAULIPOWER, and a Digital Designer at Radley Studios. Alex has also done freelance illustration work for Mythical Entertainment.

Alex Newman attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design. Alex then attended Columbus College of Art & Design from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration.
