Devashish Prasad

Devashish Prasad is currently a Member of Technical Staff in ML Research at Causal Labs, focusing on building multi-modal foundation models for weather prediction and control since June 2025. Prior to this role, Devashish served as a Machine Learning Scientist at Nabla Bio, Inc., where a struct + seq protein foundation model was developed and validated. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant position at Purdue University's Kihara Lab, where DeepMainMast for cryo-EM protein structure prediction was developed, and a Machine Learning Engineer role at Snap Inc., creating an Optical Flow-based model for video tracking. Relevant internships include positions at Viasat Inc., Pirimid Fintech, and others, where various machine learning applications were explored. Devashish holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University and multiple degrees in engineering and computer science.
