Dr. Olav Laudy

Dr. Olav Laudy is the current Chief Data Scientist at Causality Link. Dr. has also held the position of Chief Data Scientist Asia-Pacific at IBM from October 2010 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading IBM teams in initiating and progressing transformational analytical opportunities. Dr. also served as a highly visible public face for IBM Analytics. Prior to their role at IBM, Dr. Laudy was a Senior Consultant Data Science at IBM (SPSS) from January 2008 to October 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the successful development and implementation of strategic Predictive Analytics solutions in Benelux, Germany and the Nordics. Dr. Laudy has also worked as a Senior Data Analyst at KPN from September 2006 to December 2007, where they developed analytical models for marketing in a B2B environment, including customer lifetime models, churn models and acquisition models. Dr. holds a Ph.D. in Methodology and Statistics from Utrecht University, which they obtained after completing their Ph.D. program at Utrecht University from August 1997 to September 2005.

Dr. Olav Laudy has a PhD in Applied Statistics from Utrecht University and a Master's in Psychology/Methodology from BAC. Dr. also has a VWO from High School/Secondary Diploma Programs.

They are on a team with Allen Ginsberg - NLP Lead, Antoine Mallard - VP of Portfolio Management, and Craig Trim - Senior Software Engineer - NLP. Dr. Olav Laudy reports to Pierre Haren, Co-Founder and CEO.
