Peter Weller

Peter Weller has extensive experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Peter started their career in 2002 as a Software Installation Developer at Aspen Technology. After that, they worked at SunGard System Access, where they held multiple roles, including Project Version Control Manager, supervisor of the Version Control Team, and Support Manager. In 2008, they joined BT Fresca as a Build & QA Engineer, responsible for monitoring the auto build process and deploying applications.

In 2013, Peter joined IBM Slovakia as an IT Specialist, where they worked as the Build & QA Manager for IBM's U-Safe product. Subsequently, they moved on to cortical.io as a Senior DevOps Engineer and implemented various infrastructure solutions on AWS OpsWorks.

From 2016 to 2019, Peter worked at Modulr Finance, initially as a Senior DevOps Engineer and later as the Principal DevOps Engineer. Peter played a crucial role in implementing a Green-Blue deployment process and hosting QA and Sandbox environments in AWS.

Currently, Peter is serving as the Head of DevOps at Causaly since 2022, overseeing the DevOps operations for the company.

Peter Weller attended Manchester Metropolitan University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Software Engineering. Prior to that, they attended The Henley College from 1998 to 2000. In 1997 to 1998, they were enrolled at Aylesbury Training Group, studying for an N.V.Q in IT.
