Anakaren Cervantes

Anakaren Cervantes is an experienced professional with a strong background in grant writing, public policy, and voter engagement. Currently serving as an Associate at Cause Strategy Partners since November 2022, previously held the role of Graduate Fellow at the same organization. Prior experience includes working as an Associate—Grant Writer & Client Manager at Townsend Public Affairs, where grant proposals were developed, business development supported, and significant funding secured. Anakaren has also engaged in grassroots mobilization as a Field Organizer for the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California and canvassed for electoral campaigns. Academic qualifications include a BA in History and Public Policy, an MA in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford. Further expertise in data science was gained through a fellowship with Correlation One.
