Matthew Kararo has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they are currently the Director of Research at Causeway Solutions, LLC, where they work with an incredible team to embody the company's goal of "Data Done Right". From 2019 to 2021, they were a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Managing Consultant at Navigant. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Florida International University, where they conducted research in the academic discipline of Biology Education and in the STEM Transformation Institute. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where they provided ongoing professional development support for Indiana high school science and agricultural education teachers, planned and implemented week-long workshops, and created theory-based evaluation materials for professional development workshops.
Matthew Kararo obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication from Purdue University in 2017. Prior to this, they earned their Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication from Purdue University in 2011. In 2009, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Northern Illinois University. Kararo also holds an Associate's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Elgin Community College, which they obtained in 2007. In addition, they are KAI Certified.
