Ed Preedy has had a successful career in the advertising industry, beginning in 1997 when they joined Capital Radio Advertising (now Global Radio) as a Graduate Trainee. Ed was promoted to the Local Sales Team and then to the Agency Sales Team, where they were responsible for major agencies advertising partnerships with all Capital Radio's network of stations. In 2002, Preedy joined Rivals Digital Media as a Senior Sales Executive, progressing to become Sales Director after 6 months. Ed was responsible for building and driving the commercial revenues for online sports sites such as Football 365, Planet Rugby, Rivals.net, and PlanetF1. In 2004, Preedy co-founded the UK operation of The Claria Corporation and introduced UK agencies and Direct Clients to the US based company's innovative behavioural marketing technology and solutions. In 2006, Preedy founded Tribal Fusion's European operation and was responsible for significant growth in revenues and company size. Ed also built the commercial organization and provided advertising partners with a progressive display ad network solution. In 2012, Preedy became Commercial Director for Exponential, incorporating the Tribal Fusion, Firefly Video, Appsnack Mobile and Adotube pre-roll video Business Units. Ed was highly commended by the IPA as Commercial Director of the year in 2012. In 2014, Preedy took on the role of Commercial Director at InMobi, leading the InMobi brand organization with responsibility for the Sales, Account Management, Programmatic and Creative Services departments. In 2016, Preedy became Managing Director, Europe at GumGum, the digital marketing platform for the visual web. Finally, in 2019, Preedy became Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Cavai, an award-winning global Conversational Advertising Cloud that works with agencies, publishers, advertisers and other technology platforms.

Ed Preedy completed their A-levels at Dulwich College in 1991. Ed then attended The University of Manchester, where they obtained a BA Honours in Politics and Philosophy, with a focus in Philosophy, in 1995.
