Cavalier Corporation was formed and listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in 1984. Today, its key activities involve two broadloom carpet businesses, a yarn business, and a wool procurement business. 

Cavalier Corporation has more than 3300 shareholders and over 450 employees throughout New Zealand and Australia.

The current leadership team at Cavalier Corporation have a wealth of experience in various aspects of the textile industry. The CEO, for example, has experience as a Chief Executive Officer at Bremworth and as an Executive at Seven altogether. The CEO at Icebreaker and the General Manager NZA at Icebreaker are also part of the team. All members of the team have various degrees and qualifications in textile-related fields.
