Lyn Batia

Lyn Batia is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in various research roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Scientist at Cavalry Biosciences since October 2024, Lyn previously held positions at Verge Genomics, including Scientist and Senior Research Associate, from April 2020 to September 2024. Lyn's background includes serving as UCSF-IND Supervisor at the University of California, San Francisco from February 2016 to April 2020, and Lab Manager at UC Berkeley from July 2011 to December 2015. Earlier roles included Lab Manager/Senior Research Associate at Midwestern University (AZ) and Research Assistant positions at the University of Wyoming and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Lyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Wyoming.
