James Thompson

James Thompson has a strong background in finance and auditing. James started their career as a Senior Auditor at Peat Marwick in 1983 and then moved on to become an Audit Supervisor at Squyres, Johnson, Squyres in 1985. In 1987, they joined Celebrity, Inc. as the VP Finance/Chief Financial Officer, where they stayed for 10 years. James'smost recent role is with Cavender's, where they have been serving as the CFO since 1998.

James Thompson obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 1981 to 1982. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, attending from 1975 to 1979.
