Ian Povey

Ian Povey is a Mechanical CAD Designer with extensive experience in the nuclear industry, having worked for Cavendish Nuclear in various roles since 2010. Currently, Ian holds the position of Mechanical CAD Designer (Remote working) since September 2021, focusing on design, development, and detailing tasks for nuclear projects using Inventor and Vault Professional software. Ian's background includes significant contributions to waste repackaging plant machinery, continuous emission controls systems, generator technologies, and other mechanical design projects across different sectors. Ian possesses an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham Trent University and an HNC in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering (Computer Aided Engineering) from the University of Bedfordshire.
