Edison Kagona is a data and software engineer with extensive expertise in designing and implementing data-driven solutions, specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, and data engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of the Centre for Innovations and Enterprise at Cavendish University Uganda and as a Tech Lead at Turing, Edison has held various academic and technical roles, including Senior Lecturer at multiple institutions and Senior Software Engineering Consultant at SuperCom. In addition to consulting and mentoring roles with Mastercard, Edison has contributed to innovative agricultural projects like Croppie and held several leadership positions in educational settings, providing significant input in curriculum development and course coordination. Edison's educational background includes advanced degrees in Computing and Information Technology from Uganda Technology and Management University and Makerere University.

Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) is a leading Private University in Uganda established in 2008 and is licensed and accredited by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education.
