Dennis Maynes has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Dennis began their career as a Statistician at Wicat Education Institute, where they focused on analyzing the effectiveness of computer-delivered instruction and developing systems for computer-based tests in schools. Dennis then worked at Waterford Testing Center as a Systems Analyst and Statistician. At Wicat Education Systems, they served as a Senior Support Analyst, integrating testing and assessment modules into the learning management environment and installing educational software onto servers and workstations. Dennis continued their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Jostens Learning, Inc. and later at Wicat Education Systems again. At Fonix, they worked as a Research Engineer. Dennis then joined Intel as a Senior Software Engineer, where they stayed for three years. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Scientist at Caveon Test Security, where they develop statistical algorithms and theory for the analysis of exam responses, focusing on the detection and dissection of exam fraud. Dennis Maynes pursued their education at Brigham Young University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics from 1975 to 1979. Dennis further enhanced their knowledge by completing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from 1980 to 1985, also at Brigham Young University.
