Jari Törmälä

Jari Törmälä has a strong background in information security. Jari currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Caverion, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte Finland as a Manager in 2015. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Kesko as an Information Security Manager, where they were responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of the Information Security Management System. Jari also led the compliance efforts for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Before that, they held the position of Chief Security Officer and Senior Security Consultant at Nixu Oy from 2007 to 2011. Their career in information security started at TeliaSonera Finland in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Security Consultant.

Jari Törmälä earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from LUT University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Jari also holds additional certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation, Azure Fundamentals, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
