Sampo Valmunen

Sampo Valmunen has extensive experience in legal and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Legal and Risk Management (Projects) and Head of Legal (Industrial Solutions) at Caverion since February 2016. Prior to this role, Sampo worked as a Senior Associate, Attorney-at-Law at Castrén & Snellman Attorneys Ltd. from September 2012 to February 2016, and held various legal positions including Legal Counsel at Konecranes Plc and Associate Lawyer at EY. Sampo began professional training as a Senior Trainee at Bird & Bird. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Law from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, a Student exchange programme in Law from the University of Surrey, and M.Sc. degrees in Economics from both Turun yliopisto - University of Turku and Aalto University, with the latter ongoing until 2024.
