Jim Mumford

Jim Mumford has a diverse range of work experience in the field of verification engineering. Jim worked as a Principal Verification Engineer at Cavium Networks, where they also served as a Verification Contractor. At Avici Systems, they held the position of Principal Verification Engineer and was responsible for FPGA/subsystem verification project lead for a terabit router. During their time at IronBridge Networks, Jim worked as an ASIC/System Verification Contractor and contributed to the adoption of Vera by the client. Jim also worked as an ASIC Verification Contractor at Avici Systems, BBN Technologies, Ascom Timeplex, and Sun Microsystems, where they developed and implemented functional design verification tests for various ASICs. At Kendall Square Research, they were involved in hardware design verification and system testing of parallel computer systems. Jim also gained experience in hardware diagnostics and system testing during their tenure at Digital Equipment Corporation and Data General.

Jim Mumford has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jim'sstudies focused on VLSI CAD Design and Control Systems.
