Kathy Vences

Kathy Vences currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO and Co-Founder at Cavnue since March 2021. Prior to this role, Vences was a Senior Advisor at the Hudson Institute for a brief tenure in early 2021. From April 2019 to January 2021, Vences worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation in various capacities, including Director of Scheduling and Advance and Special Assistant for Scheduling and Advance in the Office of the Secretary. Earlier experience includes a position as a Management Analyst at the Program Support Center, Health and Human Services, and serving as an Executive Assistant and Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives. Vences began a career as an ESL Instructor in various settings from August 2010 to April 2013. Educational background includes studies at Montgomery College and the University of Maryland Global Campus.
