Anastasija Zaiko

Anastasija Zaiko's work experience begins with their role as Co-Founder at Sequench, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Auckland, starting in September 2017. From July 2015 to the present, they have also served as a Scientist at the Cawthron Institute, and from May 2014 to July 2015, they were a Visiting Researcher at the same institute. Anastasija'searlier experience includes roles at Klaipeda University, where they worked as a Senior Researcher from September 2012 to November 2021, a Researcher and Lecturer from May 2009 to September 2012, and as a Research Assistant from May 2004 to May 2009.

Anastasija Zaiko has a strong educational background in the field of Ecology and Environmental Science. Anastasija obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Klaipeda University between 1997 and 2001. Building upon this foundation, they pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from Klaipeda University between 2001 and 2003. Anastasija further advanced their knowledge and expertise by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Klaipeda University from 2004 to 2009.
