Stuart McQuaid

Stuart McQuaid is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading and management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Caxton Associates since May 2017, Stuart previously held the position of European Trader at Perry Capital from November 2012 to February 2016, focusing on event-driven equity and distressed debt. Prior to that role, Stuart was a Trader in Global Equities at J. Safra Asset Management (Europe) from December 2009 to November 2012, specializing in risk arbitrage. Stuart's career began as a Special Situations Trader at Elgin Capital, followed by a Graduate Trainee position at Deutsche Bank in the equities department. Educationally, Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, obtained between 2002 and 2005, after completing studies at Haberdashers' Boys' School from 1990 to 2001.
