Hospital Volunteer, Short Stay Surgery at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca

Emma Lu is a dedicated teaching assistant at Cornell University, engaging students in biochemistry and microbiology through study groups and workshops. Currently serving as a research assistant in the Stem Cell and Cancer Lab, Emma collaborates with leading professionals to investigate the origins of Serous Endometrial Carcinoma. With volunteer experience at Cayuga Medical Center and a substantial background in research from Weill Cornell Medicine, Emma showcases a commitment to both education and healthcare. In addition to academic pursuits, Emma has a notable background in figure skating, having competed as a member of TEAM USA and earned multiple national and international accolades. Emma is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society at Cornell University.
