Marlee Pincus

Marlee Pincus is a dedicated and experienced professional currently serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, where responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment plan implementation. As a cancer survivor, Marlee actively participates as a panelist and volunteer for the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, raising awareness about childhood cancer. Marlee also engages in undergraduate research at the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, investigating the impact of obesity on breast cancer metastasis. In addition, Marlee contributes as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and serves as a Tatkon Peer Leader, facilitating connections for first-year students. Previous experience includes working as a Computational Biology Laboratory Assistant at the Tel Aviv Medical Center, focusing on immune cell gene expression in interstitial lung diseases. Marlee is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering at Cornell University, expected to graduate in May 2024.
