Brett Reissener, PMP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in project and program management. Brett began their career in the U.S. Navy, where they served for over 31 years, starting as an EOD Tech and retiring as a Captain in 2011. During their Navy career, they received a commission through Officer Candidate School and held various leadership roles.

After retiring from the Navy, Brett worked at Concurrent Technologies Corporation as Principal for EOD and C-IED Programs in 2011. Brett then joined A-T Solutions in 2012, where they served as a Program Manager and a strategic liaison for Navy Type Commands. In addition, they were the Afghanistan C-IED Training Site Lead at Kandahar Air Field, providing training and project management for forward deployed programs.

In 2008, Brett became the Commanding Officer and Business Unit Leader at the Naval Explosive Ordnance Technology Division, overseeing a large organization supporting missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Brett achieved 100 percent success in compliance and inspection and received recognition for their superior performance.

Prior to that, Brett served as an EOD Officer at JSOC, where they directed and conducted classified missions in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of national strategic counter-terrorism operations. Brett was also recognized as a subject matter expert in EOD, WMD, counter-terrorism, counter-proliferation, and counter-IED.

Earlier in their career, Brett was the Commanding Officer of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Six, leading a military unit and providing combat-ready forces for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Brett also served as a Staff Officer and Current Operations Director at Commander, Second Fleet/Striking Fleet Atlantic, where they played a key role in directing joint task force current operations cell and leading maritime planning for NATO exercises.

Currently, Brett is working as a Senior Project/Program Manager at Cayuse Holdings, managing government contracts and providing support to various organizations, including the Air Force and Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Brett also provides direct labor support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center in support of Joint EOD Programs.

Brett Reissener, PMP has a diverse education history. In 1983, they began their educational journey with the University of the State of New York Regents, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 1985. Moving forward, in 2002, they attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, earning a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy in 2003. Later in 2008, Brett enrolled in the Navy Corporate Business Course at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, specializing in Business.

Furthermore, Brett Reissener also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2012.
