Steve Lafranca

Steve Lafranca has over two decades of work experience in the field of quality assurance engineering. Steve started their career at PowerQuest as a Quality Assurance Engineer in 1997 and remained in this role until 2003. Following that, they joined Symantec, where they held two positions: Principal SQA Engineer from 2004 to 2006 and Manager of SQA Engineering from 2007 to 2010. In these roles, they managed teams, coordinated test efforts with development managers and leads, and wrote automation scripts for regression testing.

From 2010 to 2016, Steve worked at Imagine Learning as a Senior SQA Engineer. Steve then joined IMAT Solutions in 2016, where they held the same role for a year before moving to Evernym, Inc. in 2017. At Evernym, they served as a Senior SQA Engineer until 2019. Steve then joined Nav Inc. as an SQA Automation Engineer for a brief period from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, Steve joined Jane.com as a Senior Automation Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Principal QA Engineer at Cayuse LLC, starting in November 2021.

Steve Lafranca attended Utah Valley University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
