Spencer L.

Spencer L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Spencer started their career in 2004 as a Finish and Paint Technician, Builder, and Installer at Jackson Cabinets & Design, where they gained experience in designing, constructing, and installing cabinets. Spencer also learned various construction skills and performed home renovations. In 2009, they worked as an Operations Manager at Legacy Preparatory Academy, where they managed two facilities and led teams of maintenance employees, overseeing day-to-day operations and larger maintenance tasks.

After completing college, Spencer ventured into the graphic design field. Spencer worked as a Graphic Designer / Associate Director Student Government at the Associated Students of the University of Utah. In this role, they worked on university sporting events, health awareness campaigns, and event promotions for musical artists. Spencer'swork was highly visible around campus.

In 2013, Spencer joined Fluid Advertising as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. Spencer worked on various projects, including print and digital ad campaigns, interactive products, branding, motion graphics, and trade show installations. Spencer then moved to Boncom in 2016 as a Senior Designer, where they provided visual design support for global clients and worked on projects such as the UN Foundation, Smithsonian, and Tabernacle Choir rebrand.

In 2020, Spencer became a Senior Brand and UX Designer at Gabb Wireless, an industry leader in safe tech for kids. Spencer redesigned the UI/UX of the e-commerce experience. Subsequently, they joined Cinch in 2022 as a Design Director, focusing on improving the overall brand and positioning of the marketing automation web platform startup.

Most recently, Spencer joined Christopherson Business Travel in 2023 as a Senior Art Director.

Throughout their career, Spencer also worked as a Brand Consultant at Mountain Hub, Inc. and as a self-employed Designer at Speckle Studio, where they designed and branded a mobile app.

Spencer L. began their education journey in 2005 at Weber State University, where they pursued General Studies and Visual Communications. However, no degree was obtained during their time there. In 2008, Spencer L. enrolled at Salt Lake Community College for a General Studies degree but did not specify a field of study. After completing their studies at Salt Lake Community College in 2010, Spencer L. went on to attend the University of Utah. From 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
