Allison Jane Smith is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication and public affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for Strategy, Public Affairs, and Government Relations at CBC/Radio-Canada since October 2021, Allison focuses on creating impactful communication materials for the President and CEO. Previously, as a Communications Consultant at the World Health Organization, Allison led strategic efforts related to COVID-19, enhancing public information accuracy in Cambodia. With a strong freelance background, Allison has contributed to various organizations, including the Samara Centre for Democracy and TechCrunch, producing high-profile content and reports. As Communications Director for OIC: The Cambodia Project, Allison established the brand and external communications framework, while experience as Editor-in-Chief at whydev.org included overseeing editorial quality and content.
