Katie Jackson

Katie Jackson is an experienced communications and community engagement professional with a diverse background in various roles within the media and arts sectors. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Producer at CBC/Radio-Canada since October 2021, Katie has previously held positions including Senior Communications Officer and Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at the Arts & Culture Centres of NL, overseeing marketing efforts across multiple locations. Additional experience includes working as an Assistant to the Managing Director at CBC, where sensitive information was managed, and roles in communications and marketing at the Resource Centre for the Arts, the JUNO Awards, and the St. John's International Women's Film Festival. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and Sociology and a Diploma in Professional Writing from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
