Paula Pettit

Paula Pettit has extensive work experience in labour and employment law. Paula is currently Corporate Director of Labour and Employment Law at CBC/Radio-Canada. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Director and Lead Counsel, as well as Senior Legal Counsel, at CBC/Radio-Canada. Before joining CBC/Radio-Canada, Paula worked as Director of Legal Counsel for Labour, Employment, and Human Rights at Loblaw Companies Limited. Paula also has experience as an Associate Lawyer at Miller Thomson LLP and as a Lawyer at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP, specializing in labour relations and employment law. Additionally, Paula has held positions at HOOPP and the Canadian Media Production Association, where they held roles in human resources, industrial relations, and collective agreement administration. Paula began their career as Manager of Agreement Administration at The Writers Guild of Canada.

Paula Pettit obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (honors) degree in Political Science & English at Western University. No specific start or end years were provided for their bachelor's degree.
