Kevin C.

Kevin C. has been working in the life science industry since 1997. Theirfirst role was as a Laboratory Technician at Southern Oregon University. Kevin then moved on to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2000 as a Research Associate (Class 1) and then to UCSF Medical Center in 2003 as a Research Associate (Class 3), where they worked with Dr. Bruce Conklin. In 2011, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where they worked in the field of behavioral neuroscience. In 2014, they became a Professor at the University of San Diego. In 2015, they were a Biotechnology Lecturer at BioTech Primer Inc. and in 2017, they became a Biotechnology Speaker at Rising Tide Biology, where they built and delivered lectures on emerging trends in pharma/biotech and performed medical and market research for genetic medicine products. Theirclients included Biogen, Sarepta, Genentech, Pfizer, J&J, and Juno/BMS. In 2019, they became the Chief Science Officer at CBD Care Garden.

Kevin C. completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. Prior to that, they earned a Biology/Chemistry degree with a focus in Botany/Molecular Biology from Southern Oregon University.
