Helen Troup

Helen Troup has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Helen is currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer at CBHS Health Fund Limited since August 2021. Before that, they worked as a Management Consultant at Troup Consulting from January to July 2021. From 2014 to 2020, they held the position of Executive General Manager at CommInsure. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Life & Health, Australia & New Zealand at Swiss Re from 2012 to 2014. Helen also worked as an Independent Consultant at Troup Consulting from 2011 to 2012. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as the CEO at ING New Zealand (now OnePath New Zealand). Helen'sexperience at ING also includes the role of Executive Director, Life Risk at ING Australia from 2004 to 2008 and Head of Risk Insurance Markets at INGA from 2001 to 2004. Helen started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Royal & Sun Alliance (now Asteron) in 1991 and later became the National Product and Marketing Manager - Life Risk at the same company from 1997 to 2001.

Helen Troup attended Macquarie University from 1988 to 1991 where they pursued a degree in Economics with a specialization in Actuarial studies. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1987, they studied at St Mary's College in Wollongong, Australia. No degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
