Damon Colvin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Damon started their career as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in 2006. Damon then worked as a Leasing Agent at RAF Properties from 2007 to 2008. Damon also served as a Personal Banker and later as Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Bank from 2008 to 2012. Damon then joined DHCU Community Credit Union as a Financial Services Officer in 2012. Damon's banking career continued at CBI Bank & Trust, where they held various roles including Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President, Manager of Davenport Banking Centers from 2014 to 2021. Throughout their career, Damon has also been involved in the field of ministry. Damon served as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Rock Island High from 2001 onwards and as an Ordained Associate Minister at Second Baptist Church from 2013 to the present. Damon has also held interim pastoral roles at Olivet Baptist Church of Rock Island, IL from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Pastor at Olivet Baptist Church starting from November 2022.
Damon Colvin completed their high school education at Rock Island High School from 1990 to 1994. Damon then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1994 to 1995, studying engineering. Damon went on to pursue an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration at AXIA COLLEGE from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management from the University of Phoenix from 2013 to 2015.
