Femke Konatey-Dekker is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in international development and agribusiness. Currently serving as a program manager at CBI - Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries, Femke focuses on sustainable market transformations, managing projects such as fonio and coffee from Guinea and Indonesia. Prior to this role, Femke was a program manager at the Netherlands-African Business Council, overseeing agribusiness projects, and a business developer at Satelligence, where regional sales and client relationship development were key responsibilities. CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries), the agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and part of the Development Co-operation effort of the Netherlands. Operating since 1971 within this policy framework. CBI’s main objective is to contribute to the economic independence of a selected number of countries in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Mediterranean and the Pacific by promoting the exports of goods and services from those countries to Western Europe. In order to achieve this objective, CBI has developed a varied package of services and Export Coaching Programmes available to Business Support Organisations and manufacturers/ exporters in mentioned countries.
