Brigitte Betancourt

Brigitte Betancourt has gained extensive work experience in the field of accounting and financial management. Brigitte'smost recent position was as a Corporate Accountant at CBIGG Management, LLC, where they provided comprehensive financial support to multiple private country clubs and public golf courses. Brigitte'sresponsibilities included month-end closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger review.

Prior to that, Brigitte served as a Senior Property Accountant at US Property Management. In this role, they managed full cycle accounting for an office building in downtown Houston and a resort in Belize using Yardi software. Brigitte prepared financial reporting packages and assisted with internal and external audits.

From 2017 to 2021, Brigitte held the position of Property Accountant/Financial Controller at Aimbridge Hospitality. Brigitte was responsible for monitoring and executing the hotels' financial goals, overseeing internal control systems, and preparing timely and accurate financial reports.

Before that, Brigitte worked as a Senior Accountant at Vista Host Hotels, INC, where they managed and prepared monthly financial statements for six hotels, including Hilton and Marriott franchises located across the U.S.

Brigitte started their career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they initially served as a Management Trainee, gaining knowledge and proficiency in various accounting functions. Brigitte later became an Accounting Manager, responsible for the financial operations of a 158-room property. Brigitte also prepared budgets and forecasted revenues, expenses, and earnings.

Brigitte's early work experience includes an internship at Omni Hotels and a role as a Management Intern at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. Overall, Brigitte Betancourt has developed a strong background in accounting and financial management through their diverse roles in the hospitality industry.

Brigitte Betancourt completed their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2011 at the University of Houston, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
