Malcolm Shead

Malcolm Shead currently serves as the MEAL Manager at CBM Global Disability Inclusion since August 2023. Previously, Malcolm held several key roles at ShelterBox, including Head of Programme Quality and Head of Accountability and Learning from 2020 to August 2023, as well as serving as Head of Operations Development on a maternity cover in 2019 and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Team Lead from 2014 to 2019. Earlier experience includes working as an Expedition Team Leader with Global Vision International in 2009 and as a Resource Planning Officer at South West Lakes Trust from 2008 to 2009. Malcolm's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Social Sciences focusing on Urban Development and Governance from the University of Staffordshire, a Master’s in Climate Change and Risk Management from the University of Exeter, and a Bachelor's in Ocean Science from the University of Plymouth.
