Ilker Sevindi has a strong background in social compliance, with a focus on EMEA operations. Ilker started their career as a Research Assistant at Istanbul Technical University in 2000 for Business Administration. Ilker then worked as a Social Compliance Consultant for CSCC from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, Ilker worked as a Social Compliance Consultant, Operations Supervisor, and R&D Associate for EMEA Operations at STR Responsible Sourcing. Ilker continued with the same roles at UL Responsible Sourcing from 2011 to 2015, before joining CBR Fashion Group. At CBR Fashion Group, Ilker is responsible for social compliance of EMEA operations, ensuring factories meet CBR Code of Conduct and local law requirements. Ilker has conducted numerous compliance visits, developed corrective action plans, and provided guidance to factories.
Ilker Sevindi completed their education with an MBA degree from Istanbul Technical University between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they earned a BSc. degree in Textile Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, graduating between 1993 and 1998. Their secondary education was completed at Galatasaray Lisesi, where they studied in the field of Fen from 1985 to 1993. Additionally, Ilker Sevindi obtained a certification as a CSCA (Certified Social Compliance Auditor) from the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors Inc. (APSCA) in November 2021.
