Abhishek Balakumar

Abhishek Balakumar is an experienced professional with a strong background in sustainability and engineering. Currently serving as Director - ESG at CBRE since March 2022, Abhishek previously held the position of National Sustainability Manager and contributed significantly to sustainability initiatives at AMP Capital from January 2019 to March 2022. Abhishek's career also includes roles at Grosvenor Engineering Group, where responsibilities included energy assessments and auditing, and experience as a partner at Abravic Shipping, focusing on management and business relations. Early career experience features a position as a Product Engineer at Molex and an internship at GE Energy Management. Abhishek holds a Master's Degree in Engineering & Business Management from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from VTU.
