Emma Giamartino

Emma Giamartino brings together CBRE’s financial management, capital allocation and corporate development activities on a global basis to help drive growth for CBRE. She directly oversees Controllership, Corporate Development, Finance Risk & Assurance; Investor Relations, Strategy & Operations, Tax and Treasury. She works in partnership with the company’s executive, business line and geographic leadership on both mergers and acquisitions and real estate investment activities. She is a member of the company’s Global Executive Committee and is a Board member of CBRE Acquisition Holdings, Inc., a Special Purpose Acquisition Company sponsored by CBRE. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Industrious, a leading provider of premium flexible workplace solutions; CBRE is Industrious’ largest shareholder.

Previously, Ms. Giamartino was CBRE’s Global Head of Corporate Development. Ms. Giamartino joined CBRE in February 2018 to lead CBRE’s M&A activities in the Americas. Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Giamartino served as Director of Corporate Development at Verizon Communications where she executed M&A transactions and strategic investments across Verizon’s core businesses.

Earlier, Ms. Giamartino worked in Nomura’s technology, media and telecommunications group, where she held progressively responsible positions, most recently as Vice President, Investment Banking for the group. She began her career at Financial Security Assurance.
