Kara McDermott

Kara McDermott is a dedicated fitness coach currently employed at Training for Warriors since April 2023 and has also been serving as an associate at Marcus & Millichap since January 2023. Previously, Kara held the position of Sales Coordinator at Coldwell Banker, where responsibilities included administrative support for a real estate office and marketing efforts, and worked as a Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness, focusing on membership sales and community outreach. Kara also gained valuable experience as an intern for Leadership Development & Strategic Partnerships within Rutgers University Athletics while competing as a student athlete on the Rutgers Women's Rowing team. This participation contributed to teamwork and discipline skills, leading to a historical Big Ten medal achievement. Additionally, Kara has coaching experience with the Rumson-Fair Haven Rowing Foundation, planning practices and workout regimes. Academic qualifications include a degree in Sport Management from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, completed in 2021.
