Antonio Simontalero

Antonio Simontalero, CFA, MRICS has a strong and diverse work experience. Antonio started their career as a Consultant at Accenture in 1999 before moving to McKinsey & Company as a Specialist in Financial Institutions from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, they joined ING Real Estate Investment Management as a Senior Asset Manager, overseeing one of the largest retail real estate portfolios in Spain and Portugal. In 2008, they were promoted to Chief Financial Officer at ING Real Estate Investment Management, a position they held until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, Antonio served as the Chief Financial Officer and later as the Country Manager for Iberia at CBRE Global Investors, responsible for the financial management and overall operations of the company's real estate investments in Spain and Portugal. Since February 2023, they have taken on the role of Portfolio Manager for the Pan European Core Fund at CBRE Investment Management, overseeing a multi-sector fund invested in 13 European countries. Antonio has expertise in debt management, financial reporting, and investment structuring, and has experience in raising, refinancing, and restructuring complex debt finance.

Antonio Simontalero, CFA, MRICS, has a strong educational background in both business administration and law. From 1993 to 1999, they attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Business Administration. During the same period, from 1993 to 1998, they also pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Law at the same institution.

In addition to their academic achievements, Antonio has also earned two significant certifications. In July 2006, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder designation from the CFA Institute. This certification demonstrates their expertise in investment analysis and portfolio management. Furthermore, in June 2022, they obtained the MRICS designation from the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). This certification signifies their competency in the area of surveying and real estate.
