Jen Cardone

Jen Cardone is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Anchor and Investigative Reporter at CBS 42 since June 2021. Before joining CBS 42, Cardone worked at WDBJ7 as a Multimedia Journalist, leading the coverage of the New River Valley and filling in at the anchor desk from June 2019 to June 2021. Previous roles include Multimedia Journalist and Weekend Morning Anchor at WNDU-TV from November 2016 to December 2018, and correspondent for Nexstar Media Group, where contributions involved sending packages and sound bytes related to congressional issues. Cardone has also reported as a Political Reporter at WKBN-TV and held various internships in investigative reporting, news reporting, and sales and marketing, enhancing skills in multimedia journalism. Cardone holds a Master of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Duquesne University.
