Alicia Tejada is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Coordinating/Field Producer for CBS News's 48 Hours since July 2012. In this role, Alicia oversees broadcast workflows, manages a team of Broadcast Associates, and collaborates with the Executive Producer on staffing and scheduling. Alicia's responsibilities also include story research, co-producing broadcasts, and handling promotional materials. Prior to CBS News, Alicia worked as a Digital News Associate at ABC News, a News Assistant/Researcher at NY1 News, and a Post Graduate Intern at Grupo Clarin in Argentina. Alicia began the career as an Assignment Editor at News 12 Network. Alicia holds a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida.
