Daniel Klaidman

Daniel Klaidman is an experienced investigative journalist currently serving as an Investigative Producer at CBS News since January 2024, focusing on political, policy, and national security stories. Prior to this role, Klaidman was a Special Correspondent at Newsweek from January 2012 to January 2024, and also held the position of Editor in Chief at Yahoo News from January 2014 to June 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing editorial operations and guiding long-term strategy. Klaidman previously worked as Managing Editor at Newsweek from October 2006 to February 2011 and as a reporter at Legal Times from 1988 to 1996. Klaidman holds a Bachelor's degree in European History from Georgetown University, obtained between 1983 and 1986.
