Michael Roppolo has extensive experience in digital media and social media production, particularly in the context of news reporting. Currently serving as an Associate Producer for Digital Media at CBS News since September 2014, Roppolo specializes in editing crime-related social media content and producing uplifting stories for CBS News’ streaming platform. Previous roles at CBS News included Social Media Associate Producer and Social Media Associate for "48 Hours," where Roppolo managed social media accounts, created viral content, and employed data analysis to enhance audience engagement. Additional experience includes a position as Social Media Manager for the Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority and various writing roles at CBS Interactive and DragonFlyEye.Net. Roppolo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
