Dewon Farris

DeWon Farris has a strong background in Mac systems engineering and IT service applications. DeWon began their career at Dell in 2010 as a Client Field Technical Services Senior Assistant. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Deskside Support Technician at the Society of Petroleum Engineers. In 2015, they joined Presidio as an IT Service Applications Technician, where they were responsible for implementing policies, images, software, and scripting within the JSS. In 2017, DeWon worked at HCL Technologies as an Associate Consultant. DeWon then moved on to Pitney Bowes as an IT System Engineer, specializing in JAMF engineering and administration. In 2017, they also worked at Dish Network as a Senior Systems Administrator. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Mac Systems Engineer at NASA. DeWon then joined NCI Information Systems, Inc as a Lead Software Engineer Systems Software from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are working at CBTS as a Lead System Engineer, and starting in 2022, they will be joining Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Mac Systems Engineer.

DeWon Farris has pursued education in the field of Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at DeVry University, although the specific start and end dates are not provided. Additionally, they obtained a Certification in Welding Technology/Welder from Rod Brady Vocational School, which lasted from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, DeWon Farris has also obtained two additional certifications. DeWon became a Certified Casper Administrator (CCA) from Jamf in December 2016, and they also acquired the certification of Certified Casper Technician (CCT) from JAMF Software in June 2016.
