Jeffrey Polochak has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2020 to present, they have been working as a Principal System Engineer at Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corporation. In this role, they are responsible for leading systems integration activities involving mobile robotic systems, developing communications interfaces, and controls operations.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, Jeffrey worked as a Sr. Electrical/Controls Engineer at L3Harris - Brashear. Jeffrey developed a real-time motion controls system for tracking and engaging unmanned aerial vehicles, which is currently being tested by the US military. Between 2014 and 2017, they worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Aquion Energy, where they designed and implemented a battery monitoring system, performed cloud data integration, and worked on scaling up manufacturing of electronic components.

From 2003 to 2014, Jeffrey had multiple roles at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. Jeffrey was the Director of Pulsed Power R&D - ElectroMagnetic Railgun, leading an $80 million development project. Jeffrey also served as the System Integration IPT Lead, leading the R&D team in various areas such as high voltage battery-powered capacitor charging inverters and pulsed power development. Additionally, they worked as an Electrical Engineer and Tactical Data Link Computer Programmer.

Jeffrey also has past experience as a Patent Researcher (Summer Intern) at private companies in 2000 and 2001.

Jeffrey Polochak completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Penn State University from 1998 to 2002. Jeffrey then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2008.
