Ty Younse

Ty Younse has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of network operations and engineering. Ty started their career at CenturyLink in 1997 as an Internet Technical Support Specialist, where they established and maintained a help desk system for technical support. Ty then moved on to become a Network Engineer, performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for network elements and ensuring network connectivity. In 2000, they took on the role of a Network Analyst, where they were responsible for monitoring and reporting on the integrity and performance of various network devices. In 2002, Ty became the Operations Lead for Communication Network Services at CenturyLink, supervising a team of senior engineers and handling administrative duties.

In 2006, Ty joined CBTS, where they have held multiple roles. Ty started as a Senior Network Security Engineer, leading the operational and security support for a multi-national network operations project. Ty worked with firewall infrastructure and established network connectivity from device-end to customer-end. Ty then became a Senior Network Engineer at CBTS, focusing on network operations and maintenance. In 2010, they were promoted to Network Operations Manager, overseeing network operations and managing a team. Currently, Ty holds the position of Director of Operations at CBTS, where they are responsible for managing operations across the organization.

Ty Younse obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana Monroe, from 1997 to 2000. In addition, Ty earned a certification in PSM 1 from Scrum.org in July 2017.
