Sanjay Magotra

Sanjay Magotra has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sanjay started their career in 1995 as a Regional Manager for Cochlear in South East Asia. In 1997, they joined Citi as a Director and later became the Global Head of Infrastructure Equity Research and Senior Analyst, a role they held until 2008. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Southern Cross Equities as the Director, Head of Research and Senior Analyst, and then moved on to Manikay Partners LLC as a Consultant, Investment Analyst from 2010 to 2011. Sanjay then joined Royal Bank of Scotland Business as the Director of Institutional Equity Sales for Australia and India from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Integrity Investment Management as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst. Currently, they are working at Cbus Super Fund as the Head of Australian Corporate Opportunities and Senior Portfolio Manager for Equities.

Sanjay Magotra obtained a GAICD degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2022-2023. Sanjay earned an MBA degree with a focus on Strategy & Finance from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 1993-1994. Sanjay completed their BE (Hons) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar from 1984-1988.
