Ana Cristina Delgado has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as Legal Practice Compliance at Ordem dos Advogados Portugueses since June 2019. With over 17 years at the Portuguese Bar Association as President’s Legal Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Ana Cristina has developed strong international networking skills while collaborating with lawyers, parliaments, and government representatives worldwide. In addition, Ana Cristina has been the Information Officer for Portugal at the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe, handling daily communications with EU institutions and member states. Previously, Ana Cristina served as an MEP Adviser and Assistant at the European Parliament, specializing in legislative proposals and geopolitical studies. Ana Cristina holds a Law degree from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and a B1 proficiency in French from Alliance française de Bruxelles-Europe.

CCBE
The CCBE is recognised as the voice of the European legal profession representing, through its members, more than 1 million European lawyers. CCBE membership includes the bars and law societies of 45 countries from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and wider Europe. The CCBE represents European bars and law societies in their common interests before European and other international institutions.
