Cynthia Calongne

Cynthia Calongne is a Professor at Colorado Technical University (CTU) since 1996, specializing in VR/AR/VWs games and simulation research, as well as teaching doctoral research classes and over 30 courses in computer science, software engineering, information technology, management, and emerging media. Calongne has also served as the former Chair of Emerging Media, where the DCS-EM doctoral degree program was designed and has hosted numerous workshops on innovation and virtual environments. Additional roles include instructor at CCCOnline, researcher and speaker at Lyr Lobo Research, and professor at Parker University, focusing on XR/VR in the College of Business & Technology. Prior experience includes software engineering at GTE Government Systems and serving as an external evaluator for San Juan College. Calongne holds multiple degrees, including a D.CS in Software Engineering from CTU and an MA in Computer Resources Management from Webster University.
