Ahmed al Yahyai

Ahmed Al Yahyai is an experienced professional in the drilling and well engineering field, currently serving as the Drilling Planning and Design Team Lead at CCED since November 2015. Prior to this, Ahmed held various positions at CCED, including Senior Well Engineering Planning and Business Improvement, Senior Drilling Supervisor, and Senior Drilling Engineer. Ahmed's experience also includes a tenure at BP as a Well Site Leader and Drilling Supervisor on the Deep Gas Team, focused on complex drilling operations for gas wells. Previous roles at PDO involved serving as Drilling Supervisor on exploratory and development wells in challenging environments, including high-pressure and sour gas fields, as well as working as a Workover DSV and Well Site Engineer. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, earned from 2003 to 2008.
